Going out for relaxation is never out of season. While there are people who would prefer cold places to visit, most individuals will find a warm place to enjoy the sun. While Boracay holds the top most popular beaches in the Philippines, resorts in Batangas province are also worth visiting.
Les Caraibes is a vacation beach resort found in Laiya San Juan, Batangas. Based on the San Juan hotel reviews, Les Caraibes is ranked number three out of the seven most notorious family beach resorts in San Juan, Batangas.
From Manila, Les Caraibes can be reached within three hours. Reservations are accomplished
through telephone or via internet.Like all the beaches in Plaiya, Les Caraibes translated as ‘The Carribean’ is not entirely considered as a white sand type, since the sand is beige in color. Its sand is also coarser compared to the ‘fine’ Boracay sand, never the less the atmosphere and views at Les Caraibes are comforting just the same.
The staff at Les Caraibes is friendly enough. While Les Caraibes is considered as one cheap beach resort, some reviewers find their food expensive. Fortunately, visitors can also cook their own food.
Accommodation
The cottage-type houses in Les Caraibes are provided with kitchen utensils; there are plates, mugs and silver wares; and more importantly – a gas stove.
The cottage rooms are air conditioned with bed mattresses, covers and sheets. Visitors are also supplied with towels. However, during check out, these are inspected as an inventory routine. Missing items such as towels, spoons, bed sheets etc are charged automatically to the visitor.
In addition to the cottage-type houses, are the cluster rooms. These rooms can be applicable for families or big groups. Cluster rooms contain three to four double decks in bamboo designs. Same like the cottage-type houses, the cluster
rooms are air conditioned with a bathroom. However, unlike the cottage-type houses, cooking is not possible at the cluster rooms.Fun things to do
Besides eating at the restaurant or drinking at the bar, exploring the beach, swimming, taking pictures, talking to friends or merely basking under the sun are some typical ways to enjoy a vacation at any beach resort. However, as kayaking, renting a boat and riding a banana boat is also offered at Les Caraibes, these stuffs can also be enjoyed by visitors.
Finally, my review
As cited, Les Caraibes has been rated and reviewed by other tourists. Les Caraibes has its own pros and cons. While most visitors are happy to find the place as nice and beautiful - yet a cheap beach resort, some individuals find the place boring. One visitor even complained about it as a noisy place. Some customers have been satisfied with the food, yet there are those who found the menus as salty and pricey.
The bottom line: People vary. Services can be affected by seasons and circumstances.
I have visited different beaches in the past – from grey to white sands and from discovered to remote beaches. From my own point of view and satisfaction, it’s the accommodation that is really important especially for an overnight stay; and of course, fresh water to rinse off the salt from the sea.
